Let It Snow...
...as if there's any way to stop it, genius.
This is our house. This is our house with snow. Everywhere.
This is our neighbors' house (with snow). See how nicely their driveway shows through? That's because our perfect neighbor [Flanders, in the best sense of the name] shovels his snow before anyone walks on it. Sometimes even while it's still snowing.
This is how our driveway turned out after I tried my hand at shoveling. I thought I could teach myself the skill, but as it turns out, one has to be a Canadian to really get the job done right:
Ditto the sidewalk. [It is against the law to neglect shoveling snow from one's own sidewalk. If someone were to slip and get hurt on a snowy patch of sidewalk in front of our house, we would be criminals.]
I will admit, though...it's lovely.

I am really jealous. I want it to snow so badly here. It is freezing cold, but no snow yet. My husband is like your neighbor, he goes out there while its snowing to shovel. I wish he wouldn't because I like it when everything is covered. I guess it is "safer" to shovel... whatever.
Awe! Your house is so freaking CUTE!
As I have just discovered that I have eleventyhundred snowballs stored in my freezer, I am not TOOOO happy with the snow. Or my boys, for that matter.
Hurumph!
i love the snow. i HATE LIVING in the snow. your pictures are amazing though!
Haha, I know its gonna be a little rough on me when I move to DC cause I've never lived in the snow before but I can't help be excited! That's the little boy in me talking (probably the same kind of little boy who would store his stockpiles of snowballs in his mother's freezer if he could...). I too like your house Camille :o)
it is fun to have around the holidays huh! your house is cute! dont worry i am sure you will get the hang of shoveling snow. after living here for 2 winters, i LOVE shoveling the snow. side to side is the trick. I am just as anal as your neighbor. nothing brings satisfaction like a freshly shoveled drive way.
BRRRR!!! It makes me cold just looking at those pistures of the snow! Good thing you have all those blankets to keep you warm... haha!
Oh I wish I could be there with you, drinking hot chocolate, being under a warm blanket and watching something that referenced Christmas-like You've Got Mail... That would be perfectly splendid!
1) I'm jealous that you have a house. Lucky duck. 2) I'm jealous you have snow. 3) Your snow actually STAYED! Silly Arizona doesn't know how to do snow right. Eat some snow cream for me
I cannot say I miss shoveling snow! I spent to many years doing that retched chore. BUT it is beautiful and it does make it feel alot more like Christmas. I think you should take some pictures around town. I'd like to see what it looks like up there!
zzzzzz
