I Wonder How Many Readers I'll Estrange in Writing This Post?

Sorry I've been on the down-low lately.

My sister is here to visit me. She's brought along her husband (good guy) and child (even better). We've been having more fun than any family should be allowed to have. I won't post pictures quite yet, because we haven't taken one, or any. But I will--I promise.

Suffice it to say that I may or may not be posting much for the next few days. But I'll be back--I always come back.

Oh, and I might as well answer a question, since I'm here and all...

Question, From RatalieNose [one of my most favourite blog readers]: Camille, if you were still living in the U.S. which presidential candidate would you be voting for?

Picture from here.

Answer, from Me: Barack Obama. And I am still voting, because I'm an American citizen even if I've moved far far away. I'm allowed.

[Now all of you can debate in the comment section as to whether or not I'm telling the truth. Remember I come from Mesa, Arizona and I also have a penchant for sh*t disturbing.]

wow. you should really love canada then.

jay kay.

i don't really get up in arms about who other people vote for. if we were all able to agree on the same thing than the need for government would be obsolete. to each their own. i'm a mccain/palin fan myself, but i still like the B-bama. he's got charisma. just not experience.

let me leave you with this to chew on..."change is not a place, just as hope is not a strategy." (i'm sure i butchered this quote.) a lot of promises for change and bringing hope back, but i guess i'm a realist. i need something a bit more tangible than that.

Have fun with your sis!

Millie,

You're bluffing. I think you're full of it, and that you aren't really going to vote for "Obama bin Laden," as your grandmother would call him.

I wonder if any Canadians will comment here.

ka-NAH-da. A gathering of huts, in some, i don't know what, native tongue, according to a fun little CBC PSA.

Now our huts need heat.

But as the word evolved, people were wearing fur to keep warm, and lighting a fire inside.

Note to America; if you chad for GOP, send us your almost prezzy. We could use him here. Tell him to bring a parka.

(I think i'm moments away from googling the origin(s) of the word, America. Or not).

I think you are just kidding. As much as I love to hear Obama speak (he does that very well), I am for McCain. I accually don't really LOVE either one of them, but since McCain got Sarah Palin on board I am finally OK with voting this time around. Camille, please write a REAL post about how your feel about Obama and McCain, I would love to hear your thoughts on the two. Also, tell Adell I said hello, and that I have TONS of baby food that Grace won't eat, and I want to give it to her, but she isn't here. ALso ask her if her sister in laws baby takes simalac soy formula, because I have that too!

I don't believe you. But, please, write explaining your reasoning. As for me, I am totally an Obama girl. I like how he's against the war and for universal health care , alternative energy, and taxing the billionaires more. Change is a good thing. And let's face it- Palin?? Come on! As if an Alaskan governor will be able to hold up our country when McCain dies of old age in office! Please!

It has been said that the year or your birthdate is supposed to be the best one in your life, ie----the year you turn 25 will be your best year. If that is true what are your grand plans for September 25, 2011????????????????

I was a little worried about McCain choosing Palin... until I heard her speak. She gets it and she's real. Too bad she isn't running for President. I think she blows everyone out of the water. Girl Power!

do you even know the definition of communist? just because he cares about the poor means he's communist, huh? wow. oh, and he's "full of himself", too. so judgemental. what has this country come to?

I don't think she is kidding at all. However, Camille does like to be the one to bring shock and a sense of ambiguity into the lives of others. I bet she will vote for him, just to satisfy hunger for attention. Yet, it might be her last chance to do so if she really does vote for Obama.

Please- she isn't starved for attention! She will vote for whoever she thinks is best for the country at this particular time. Besides, who says that voting Obama is so "shocking" anyways?

Seriously, you want for Pres who all the Hollywood types endorse. With all their high morals and high abortion rates. Everyone seems to think you were just kidding--don't joke about such things! j/k vote for who you believe in but I can't back him. He's crazy and I'd fear for the country and my taxes!

Welcome to the club of people who do not believe you have to be a republican to be a good mormon!
We'll be voting for Obama even though we're mormon and live in Alaska where most everyone will be voting for Mccain based on the fact he picked Palin.

To anonymous, who asked if I do understand the meaning of Communist....I do I'm a political science major. I think you should read the constitution and think about the values that the Framers built this country on... then think again about who you want to vote for! :)
