I enjoy going to the movies by my lonesome on a regular basis. I was such a happy person before I realized I should be self concious of a lone jaunt to the theater. And i'm still not done!!!

BUT
i have to tell you about this new book i got at Seagull Bookstore.
It's called "Twilight"....dunno who the author is. But it's sooo good so far and i really think you'd like it. It's about a girl from Phoenix who moves someplace really rainy (i forget where exactly) and basically, she meets a vampire. The story is actually a lot cooler than i am making it sound, but you really should read it! it was only $8 cuz it was a paperback, but i'm sure i'll finish it this weekend.

I also got another one of Betsy Green's novels...chelsie got me stuck on those and i realized just how few of them i've actually read! i need to catch up! But i had to laugh when i read that the "Copycat" one is based in Hagghery, Georgia i believe....and that was on your list of places you'd like to go.
It made me laugh, so i had to buy it!

L.lindsayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07025752288469160437noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3954000874241675879.post-10358053777037532412007-08-23T22:46:00.000-07:002007-08-23T22:46:00.000-07:00P.P.S. -- Okay, one more thing.You think it's stra...P.P.S. -- Okay, one more thing.

You think it's strange that I let my dog sleep on the bed and that I snuggle up to her, yet you find nothing unusual about PICKLES in a nachos recipe???

Yeah. I'm afraid mine won't be nearly as interesting... I'll need a bit of time to come up with some really good ones.

And...

I think the REAL reason you have turned me down for two movie dates now is because you believe, somewhere deep down, that the next time you see a movie, you should see it ALONE. Going alone to a movie can be a very happy and therapeutic experience. Lindsey says so. I say so. Just do it. It's not as bad as you fear... FAR less traumatic than your -- ahem -- appointment the other day. =P

And...

I hope the fact that we have made a caramel apple promise to one another is a sign that you have had enough time with me to decide that you like me. Because if you haven't decided that yet, I'll feel like you're just using me for the sweet treats I am so openly willing to share with you.

That is all. Not just a slight smirk, either, but a full-on grin, and almost a laugh. To the rest of you blogging world: I wish you could have heard Cammie the Brit. Oh, how funny it was. Plus, she couldn't say hard Rs; for instance, she would say "taw-kee" instead of turkey. The combination of the soft Rs with the British accent was absolutely hysterical.
